{"id":12686,"date":"2008-05-20T13:13:38","date_gmt":"2008-05-20T13:13:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.customerservicemanager.com\/?p=12686"},"modified":"2018-02-06T13:15:31","modified_gmt":"2018-02-06T13:15:31","slug":"airline-customer-satisfaction-down","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.customerservicemanager.com\/airline-customer-satisfaction-down\/","title":{"rendered":"Airline Customer Satisfaction Down"},"content":{"rendered":"<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-12687\" style=\"margin-top: 0.5em;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.customerservicemanager.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/airline.jpg\" alt=\"Airlines\" width=\"77\" height=\"60\" \/>\n<p><strong>According to a University of Michigan report, customer satisfaction with U.S. airlines has dropped to its lowest level since 2001.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) showed a drop of 1 point for airlines to 62 on it&#8217;s 100-point scale.<\/p>\n<p>However two airlines bucked the downward trend; American Airlines went up 2 points to 62 and Southwest Airlines&#8217; score rose 3 points to 79, leading the airline segment for the 15th consecutive year.<\/p>\n<p>Bottom of the industry was US Airways Group, down seven points in customer satisfaction, with a score of 54 out of 100.<\/p>\n<p>The ACSI survey measures customer satisfaction for different industry segments on a quarterly basis.
