{"id":2142,"date":"2014-01-22T12:16:16","date_gmt":"2014-01-22T12:16:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.customerservicemanager.com\/csm210469\/?p=2142"},"modified":"2016-09-20T12:39:40","modified_gmt":"2016-09-20T12:39:40","slug":"asiainfo-nominated-in-telecoms-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.customerservicemanager.com\/asiainfo-nominated-in-telecoms-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"AsiaInfo Nominated In Telecoms Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Cloud-based RTSS solution shortlisted in new global awards.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-9871\" src=\"http:\/\/www.customerservicemanager.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/AsiaInfo-logo.jpg\" alt=\"Asian Info\" width=\"230\" height=\"115\" \/>AsiaInfo&#8217;s Real-time Self Service (RTSS) solution has been nominated for an award for Mobile Pricing Innovation.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the company&#8217;s Cloud-based Operation Platform Container (COPC), developed for China Mobile, has been shortlisted in the &#8220;Best Use of Cloud Servicesby a Telco category.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Operators with AsiaInfo&#8217;s Real-time Self Service[1] (RTSS) capabilities are empowered to give users up-to-the-minute real-time\u00a0billing information that lets them see exactly what services they are using and at what cost: how much money they spend on Facebook compared to Twitter, for example.<\/p>\n<p>It also allows them to transfer minutes \/ data between users, to convert minutes into texts (or other resources), and to upgrade the bandwidth of a particular app temporarily. Shared Plans are enabled while putting real time control into the hands of consumers.<\/p>\n<p>Independent research conducted by consultants at Northstream shows that mobile operators in Western Europe could increase annual data\u00a0revenues by about Euro 4 billion by giving customers greater control of their use and spend. The research also identified potential savings of more than Euro 540 million annually in customer care costs.<\/p>\n<p>The COPC is a centralized BSS system with a distributed multi-tenancy architecture for streamlined business operations across operator\u00a0subsidiaries. Estimated to reduce the overall time to market for new services and offers by 40%, and reduce average processing time of\u00a0service orders by 30%, implementation of the COPC significantly increases customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>For China Mobile, Capex and Opex savings were $120 million within the first year of use. The revenue increase derived from shortened order processing time, and the new products enabled by the COPC, is estimated to be $40 million every year.<\/p>\n<p>The 2014 Telecoms.com Industry Awards is a new initiative that celebrates the wide-ranging achievements of the key players within the\u00a0global communications industry.
